It was all drama at AAMI Park last night when the reds of Adelaide United landed their first soccer punch by knocking the home team out with a 0-2 WIN!
This left the Melbourne City fans hopes of the Hyundai A-League Premier Plate in limbo.
Both goals came in the first half of great entertainment of attacking football from both sides, but it was the reds who opened things up with a stunning free kick from Isaias and Bruce Djite's put the icing on the cake from the penalty spot in injury-time.
But the drama was far from over on the night as the teams created a very dramatic scene which saw the Cities goalkeeping coach Joey Didulica sent off to the stands while Stefan Mauk and Harry Novillo both received a bollacking.
It was a well deserved win for the reds of Adelaide United who now move to the top of the ladder.
Adelaide will be hopping that Brisbane Roar fail to pick up maximum points against Melbourne Victory which will see them pick up the Hyundai A-League 2016 premier's plate.
So all eyes are set on Victory and the Roar clash.
